Dr. Buckley, originally from Falls Church, Virginia, received his medical degree and completed his training at the University of Virginia (UVA) in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was chief medical resident during his residency and also completed his internship in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiovascular diseases while at UVA. He attended Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island for his undergraduate studies and graduated magna cum laude with honors, receiving a Bachelor of Science in biology.
